"three great things confronted humanity. The obvious one was that someone might let off a nuclear bomb either by accident or design but we had to go on living on the assumption that no-one was going to do it.
The overpopulation of the world was another fear.... the population doubled every 37 years... in some countries every 18 years.... but .. he was a great optimist and believed that before long a solution would be found. Boredom in an age of increased leisure was the third great problem... there was a problem to vcreate enough opportunities for people to do a worthwhile things. It was important to have a constructive hobby and to do it with tremendous enthusiasm. Life is an adventure and adventure is an attitude of mind. If you carry that attitude of mind you will enjoy life."
